Wexford born Clive Barnes is considered by many to be one of the best guitarists/singer songwriters to emerge from the Irish scene in many years. With four studio albums under his belt, and worldwide shows, including stages shared with such greats as The Blind Boys of Alabama, Eric Bibb, and Taj Mahal. amongst others, Clive has developed a reputation for his masterful guitar playing - particularly on the lap slide. With a rich gravelly voice, and a finely honed songwriting skill added to his great guitar playing, Clive Barnes may be as close as you'll get to an Irish artist perfecting a bluesy/roots/Americana sound.
