Thrilled to be welcoming Ger Wolfe back to Mick Murphy's, in Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare on Monday, March 6th, where he has been a regular visitor for almost 20 years. Doors open at 8:30pm. Admission is €12. www.gerwolfe.com
Ger Wolfe has released seven albums of original material over the last twenty years; his latest entitled “I Have Been Loved” ‘exquisitely performed, arranged and recorded’ ... sublime (Hotpress). Celebratory, reflective, independent in mind and nature, Ger continues to plough his own way through the Irish musical landscape, heedless of fad or fashion. True to the craft of songwriting, he tells his own story as only he could, in his own unique voice. Ger is a fine lyricist, poet and composer all rolled into one. He is a highly respected guitarist and singer. Later on this Spring (2017) Ger will release ‘The Lark of Mayfield’ a compilation celebrating his beautiful work to date.
