September 2017 BAG Gigs

After a terrific season opener on September 4th from The 4 Of Us, here's how the rest of September shapes up (all shows - 8:30pm Doors; €12 admission):

Monday September 11th - Malkum and Chris (US Blues Duo)

Terrific Blues duo from the US.
Regulars from the old days of gigs in the Ballymore Inn, will remember this great act tearing down the house. Genuine, authentic sound, Malkum and Chris are not to be missed. A classic Blues guitar and harmonica duo, they have a powerhouse sound.

Monday September 18th - John Blek (Solo show)

John Blek releases his third solo album - entitled 'Catharsis Vol.1' - on October 6th, and is touring it now in advance of it's official release.
Between his work fronting the band, John Blek and The Rats, and his solo work, John Blek has been developing a committed following, and making quite a name for himself as one of Ireland's finest young singer/songwriters, and has impressed BAG regulars with each visit to Mick Murphy's.

Monday September 25th - Niall Connolly (with special guest, Warren Malone, USA)

Niall Connolly is about to release his eighth studio album, entitled 'Dream Your Way Out Of This One', and, if previous offerings are anything to go by, this record will be a gem-laden beautiful thing. Brooklyn-based for many years, Cork-born Niall Connolly has, for several years, been considered one of the finest indie-folk songwriters on the scene. It'll be a pleasure and a joy to welcome him back to Mick's.
