Freddie White is one of the finest songwriters this country has produced, and has been a mainstay of the music scene for four decades. Credited by many with bringing artists such as Tom Waits, Randy Newman, Hoagy Carmichael and others, to an new Irish audience in the 1970's, by way of his remarkable ability to re-interpret other writers' material, Freddie's own songwriting should not be seen as secondary to this; at his best, he is the equal of any of the world's great songwriters.
Freddie will appear at Mick Murphy's Bar, Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare, Monday, April 14th.
Doors: 8:30pm. Admission: €15
