Susan Tomelty & Pat Farrell are one of Ireland's premier Blues/R&B/Jazz duos.
Susan Tomelty & Pat Farrell return to BAG at Mick Murphy's Bar, Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare, on Monday, March 20th. Doors open at 8:30pm, for an expected 9pm start. Admission is €12.
Susan Tomelty, one of the finest singers to come out of N. Ireland, hails from Portaferry Co. Down originally and her musical journey has brought her to Dublin, via Drumshanbo Co. Leitrim, England, Scotland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Belfast and Nashville.
An astounding singer of Jazz, Blues and R&B, Susan's passion for singing is evident in her performances. She is a very versatile singer, but has an overwhelming love for the Blues. She sings with a heart wrenching soulful sting...oozing energy and tone. Pat Farrell is a highly regarded lead and rhythm guitarist, and has been a stalwart of the Dublin Blues scene for decades, having played with The Business, and Red Peters, among others, and has shared stages with B.B. King, Jeff Healy, John Primer and Carlos Johnson. Susan and Pat will perform as a duo on the night, and pack much of the same energy as the full Susan Tomelty Blues Band line up, which also includes Tommy Moore (bass/vocals). Fran Byrne (drums) and Greg Boland (guitar) - and sometimes James Delaney (keys). http://www.susantomelty.ie/ Highly recommended.
